Al Diaz is Senior Vice President and Manager for the Bank's Los Altos office. Al joined the bank in 2011 and is responsible for leading a team of veteran bankers to grow a profitable operation that is compliant with all industry regulations. As the market leader he sets the strategic direction for effectively managing client relationships, employee engagement, retention and development as well as being actively involved in the community. Al's guidance and advice, based on years of experience in the local market, is what sets him apart from other bankers.
Prior to joining the Bank, Al held lending and relationship management positions with small and large financial institutions throughout the Bay Area. Al brings to his position over 25 years experience in the greater San Francisco / Bay Area market. His expertise lies in real estate and construction lending for a broad range of projects including residential and commercial real estate, remodel and redevelopment loans, as well as new construction, subdivision and land development, apartment/multifamily lending, office/industrial, hospitality, and special purpose properties.
Al earned a BS degree in Business Administration from Menlo College in Menlo Park, California in 1980 and his CA DRE Broker's license in 1991. Al has been a mentor and coach for youth and high-school fast-pitch softball players. He is actively involved with the music service and audio engineering for Redeemer Lutheran Church, as well as several local bands, where you can usually find him playing drums.
